Speed sensor, urgent

Postby BobFromNorway » Fri May 03, 2019 6:39 am

Following an incident where some rubbish got wrapped around my driveshaft and destroyed the wiring at the speed sensor where it goes into the gearbox....

Wanted to buy, speed sensor for 87 GTA turbo, mine has the below connection, but from what I understand, the connection can be swapped, is that correct ?

Cash is waiting, seller must be willing to post to Norway.
Whatcha got ?

You still need to find a speed sensor though...or rewire existing..

Just to clarify, it's the whole thing I need, mine is destroyed at the gearbox, the picture was only for illustration since there's different connectors between early and late cars.

Either fitting would do

610 one may work with a different connector. Also GTA atmo or Renault 25

Having trouble sourcing either at the moment, Renault Norway as much use as a chocolate teapot so speaking with Renault UK at the mo, will see what they say.

Already checked, 300 Euros is enough to make a Scotsman's blood run cold. I've bought whole cars for less than that.

Unfortunately he doesn't have any

Simon has the 610 version in stick. Little bit cheaper that the GTA one but still €199

Would need to be 100% sure it worked before spending that much .

Checked with Simon, he's out of stock of both, new and used.
Had a lead on an R25 unit but the guy says he can't find it.

Renault Norway can't get them as they say it's out of production, Renault UK still checking.

So for the moment, still wanted.
Back in the UK in late June if anyone has one

Got one, hopefully.
A NOS R25 unit turned up on German Ebay so snaffled it up.

150 Euros posted, plus import taxes, maybe I should rattle in some overtime........
