Hi,
Judging by the previous threads, it's an accepted fact that heating and ventilation (for the Cabin) is not a strong feature of the GTA and A610 (as well as needing the cooling systems in good condition for the engine).
I guess we all have noticed that if you leave the windows open a little, you get better output from the heater/cooling- like most older cars- or maybe there is something blocked on my A610.
My other car passion is Saabs (but I'm under treatment) and they have always made a feature of having air outlets as well as air inlets in their cars.
Does anyone know if there is a cabin air out vent (I've had a scrabble around but coudn't see anything) and if not, has anone tried putting one in?
I'm considering putting a vent through the rear bulkhead and ducting it through to behind the rear grille. I think I can see a route that doesn't involve too much structural damage, or risk exhaust gas or heat back into the cabin. Before I do this, are there any proven solutions out there (other than leaving the window open.....)
Suggestions please?
Lee
