Door rattlle

I found this modified washer inside the drivers door.
The window, door mechanism and speaker all seem to work fine, at the moment.
Does any one know if it is from something important inside the door or not ???

It is 25mm in diameter.

Dunno Simon, but my advice is to start putting these things in a box. You'll find you get a small collection over the years as mystery nuts, washers and bolts appear

So, I guess from those replies that it is not too important
If I need to keep it, does any one have a part number for clasification purposes? There is already a good collection of usefull bits in the garage, I'd hate to loose any more parts.
