When I first watched the video I did think that the driver was having to put excessive, corrective input into the steering wheel, under braking and through the corners. More than I would have thought to be necessary.

Imo it's difficult to say as there are too many variables at work to make any sort of guess.

Looks like Panciatici is the one doing the development work based off his Twitter posts. Also going over the video again the car seems pretty planted in the high speed sweeping turns as well as the one bus stop/chicane that's in the video. What lap are the tires on? How many heat cycles? Are they made specifically for the A110? Really, just too many questions to get any sort of answer.

Boy, press tests under way and nothing but crickets here.

https://alpineplanet.com/lalpine-a110-r ... -showroom/

Alpine brought it's competitors to the press test. As the 4c, Audi TTS and Cayman were all available. Imo that's a very good sign, they are clearly confident in the cars abilities.

My mistake. This wasn't press tests, but dealer training/comparisons I guess.

Interestingly Alpine Planet had comments of the dealers comparing the competitors to the Alpine but seems to be gone now.

not seen a bad review yet.... worrying for us real world drivers as they usually slag off the best cars.
Most I have posted links in the twitter feed.

Just watched an interesting road test on youtube (think it was by autocar) which was very complimentary about the new 110. Rather dead-pan tester but he was comprehensively smitten with almost all aspects of it.

Tbh, I haven't seen a negative review from any of the British press. Of course the French mags are positive. We've even had positive press over here in the states from a couple magazines.

Tim Burton (Seen Through Glass - YouTube channel) has done a really nice review from one of the press/track days. He really loves the new Alpine, and another Youtuber (Seb Delaney) was there too, and is 100% up for buying one - so it's all looking good for Alpine. Just need to find fifty grand now :) Check out the video here https://youtu.be/FuCCpaI6y-k

There both spoilt brats! it's the "New Toy" so there all over it. but give them another "toy" and Alpine is thrown to the side again.
Seb even, said he canceled his deposit, then regretted it! Just shows how fickel they are!
Soooo wrong that "flash in the pan brats" like these can access these cars..

I think you are getting my feeling about these kind of youtubing " ***** "
