Well, maybe it's too early to say but I reckon 12,000 miles since March 2017 isn't bad for starters. We'll see.

As much as I think the Giulia is an extremely good looking and awesome to drive car, it as had it's problems. Unfortunately, I have had some negative feedback from current owners, I just hope this is only due to the first production cars making it to the UK and hopefully Alfa is sorting these problems out on future cars.

Alpine Europa Cup

An FIA international series
 
In 2018, the Alpine A110 Cup will be exclusively marketed to customers entering the Alpine Europa Cup. This new competition will meet Alpine's demanding requirements and standards, with a professional, meticulous organisation on the track and a passionate, friendly atmosphere in the paddock.
 
Organised and promoted by Signatech, this FIA-approved international series will be contested over six meetings and twelve races. The season will kick off on 1-2 June at the Circuit Paul Ricard (France) before then continuing in Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Spain.
 
A range of products and services are included with driver registration: driver overalls, an allocation of Alpine clothing and tools, access to the Alpine Europa Cup hospitality facilities, communications, Signatech (chassis) and Oreca (engine) technical support, a mobile spare parts store at events, etc.
 
Each meeting will feature two free practice sessions, two qualifying sessions and two races, with a total track time of three hours. Two drivers may share driving duties for a single A110 Cup.
 
Three classifications will be drawn up: Overall, Junior (under 25 years old) and Gentleman drivers (over 45 years old). At the end of the season, the top drivers will share more than €160,000 of prize money and prizes.

Sad though that most of us have now fallen into (or very close to) the Gentleman Driver class. :shhh

Where did all the time go? 2004 when all this started right? :wave

Been doing a little research on the mysterious (for me at any rate) 3MO company responsible for the gearbox in the race car. Considering Renaults long racing association with Sadev it seems a bit of a surprise. This company are based in Laval, near Le Mans and supply gearboxes to the Citroen rally cars and, oddly, the Chinese Touring Car championship.

On Alpine Planet the first production car has been released. Apparently one of the higher ups at Renault.
