Seems a little pointless to have all that racing and no one there to watch and take photos / video of it for "posting up on the site" at some point.
If I had advanced notice, I could be able to attend for a few hours, as I live locally, but need to make arrangements first.
I won't even bother to mention a Drone, as that seems to make a HUGE amount of faffing and risk assessment crap... Shame but thats what happens when brainless T*****s get hold of them, and start doing stupid things and messing it up for the rest of us...
(but lets not start me off on that...)
Can we have a clear and precise answer to, if none race spectators can attend?? ASAP?? :Ass_Kick

BTW just a word of warning... There is a "Drifting" event there on the 3'Sept, and all the locals are bitching off at how, in the past, many of those attending, drive though the surrounding villages like those T***S with drones, not thinking about others, and showing off etc etc, so the local police have given the villages their own speeding guns and the such like. So don't be a T**** and watch out for these over zealous villagers, who are desperate to catch you for ANY offence. Zero tolerance is their aim. You have been warned! I also expect that on the "Drift day" that the Police will be at the well known speeding areas. Shame that the few ruin it for the many... Ce La Vive!!!

Think you must have missed this.

As per previous instructions £10 and you are of course welcome :-)

As you say drone likely to be tricky especially as the airfield may be live. I'll ask though.

Why do people have to pay £10 to watch? Members benefits?

Surely the "Club" can stretch to £10 to allow Vince a day out for all his work and services as Webmaster?

Hey thanks Martin, but its not that bad!!! LOL I am sure the fee is for the airfield and their "overheads".

Stephen, don't bother asking about the Drone, it's not worth messing anything up and delaying the event over risk assessments and the such like.. It seems that these days, if you are not a registered photographer with your own liability insurance, its a no go. so best forget the drone thing...

I think I will be able to attend, but not all day... Not sure if I will be in the A610 or my EV... depends upon the weather.
Any idea of when people are going to arrive there?? time etc??

There has to be a charge to limit numbers and its club members only anyway no public, for insurance purposes. It will also help cover costs.

Alternatively he jump in with a participant as a passenger after breakfast and that would be free ;-)

People will arrive from 8 for breakfast in the cafe. Probably no action before 10.

Hand brake cables turned up today so bearing disasters (about 50/50 in a GTA) should make it in the injection. As much as I wanted to bring A6TTA to defend its title I just haven't been able to sort out getting my new turbo with external wastegate fitted and the V8 has suffered problems with getting parts and will be months yet.

As per performance figures I'm hopeful of 160 bhp similar ft/lbs. Bruntingthorpe is a little bit up hill so judging from previous visits I reckon 0-60s are about 0.5 second down on factory figures so I reckon low 7's to 60. Maybe 140 mph top end although I don't find the idea very appealing :0).

As Dellboy mentioned the other day I'll probably be the most well protected but I've seen too much of this to even contemplate anything above 120 ....That's more than enough for me.I'm more interested in how quick I get to that and back to zero again.

Evening all...bends at the knees.

As No 1 reserve it would be good to know whether I'm committing myself to a day back up't north ( I used to live in North Kilworth many years ago) or not given its now less than 2 days away, anyone know anything...?

Cheers, Barry.

Hopefully will be sorted for the day. 200hp would be great, 60 in 7 amazing. As for top speed if it does 110 without scaring me too much I'll be content !!
Looking forward to seeing everyone very much.
