RATS' open day 9th July

Sadly I'm working so an't come to this- shame as it's always a nice meet of old and new friends and good to see Lee and his workshop too.

Anyone from up north fancy a convoy? I plan to get to there for about 11 am. Meet at Keele Services on the M6 at say 10 - 10:15?

I'll be there at lunch, was going to bring the red one across the border but picking up a new daily motor from Oldbury on the way so need to part ex. Weather looking fine, will try and get the exhaust in the back for return!

A nice meet as always. Good to meet old and new faces plus some bonus southern softies! Fair play to Mark, Dell Boy, Murf and Patch for coming a long way.

Great to meet everyone today some interesting stories and I really enjoyed taking a look round the other cars.

Thank you Lee for organising the event and for the excellent pizza / refreshments. I made it back to Suffolk in spite of two bad traffic jams, firstly on the M1 south and then again after I diverted east onto the A1M. The water temp gauge was causing concern in all the stationary traffic so I baled out and headed even further east and eventually got some good clear roads getting home via Kings Lynn which seems cray but kept everything cool.
Great to meet up and put faces to names and I'll look forward to the next one. PPG behaved impeccably except for me being smothered by the headlining which became completely detached from the roof showering the interior with brown foam granules

Just a quick thanks to Lee for hosing another open day. I didn't arrive until the afternoon, & it was great to see so many members cars. quite a few had come a long way. I haven't met many members, so it was good to put faces to the names.
