MOT time

Postby LesC » Wed May 17, 2017 9:55 pm

It's that time of year and first time in my ownership, so what is the safest way to jack up a GTA for MOT purposes? Don't want it getting destroyed by a gung ho attempt to hoist it inappropriately!

At my station, they put the car on a ramp and raise it from underneath on major suspension points. They do not use the jacking points or sills.

Thanks. That's what I hoped someone would suggest! I do the same with the Caravelle.
