If you've got any web space you need to upload them there. Or try a free image hosting site like:

http://www.photobucket.com/

Once you have your pics uploaded you should be able to put a link to the pics in the forum thread. Do this by clicking the 'Img' button, type or paste in the link to where your pics are hosted, then click the 'Img*' button to close the link. Then submit your post. Hope that made some sense!

You need to have some web space to post in posts .Depends on your IP but you might have some 50 meg as standard .You can then use the IMG mesage body to link to your pages .You can't do it using free upload sites I think as it requires some sort of authorisation :?

Edit, think I stand corrected on the freeby sites ,talking bullocks as usual ,but some things just never work for me :evil:

cheers dave im also going to get some strut braces made up would anyone else be interested if they were cheap enough the bloke that does the work is quite reasonble on prices the header tank only cost £85 which isnt expensive

The problem with strut braces is you have to chop up or remove the front boot liner/bulkhead.

im going to see him today or saturday about them exhaust housings so i will ask him if he can make one so you dont have to remove anything(probably not possible but see what he comes up with) he also said he has a cossie exhaust housing with external wastegate built on to it which should be good if it fits

Well from what you told me about your exhaust, try and get pics of the housings first and check with me, as he may be misleading you again..

Cossie housings never came in 0.82's, 0.63's are rarer than hen's teeth and sell for alot of money, and neither of them has external wastegates..

Ive already made up a front strut brace for my car and it is not possible to have it without cutting or removing things......not that thats a problem for me because my ultimate aim is for a GTA that weighs next to nothing (which is why it will always go quicker!) and removing the bulkhead and associated plastic crap saved a few kgs.
If you can get rears made up at reasnoble cost I would be up for it (wouldnt want mine shiney either).You can get them from Germany for £150, just havent got round to it yet....and that one looked a bit heavy from the pictures Ive seen! (my front cost me all of £30 to make and only weighs 2kgs)
Do you not have engine bay overheating problems? I run a triple wrapped turbo and all exhaust areas single wrapped, no engine cover, partially open rear glass and a very stripped engine bay......all of which keeps the heat down and air flowing and I still get the annoying turbo overheat light if I park up for long after a hard run (I ignore it!)
Exhaust housings? What are they? External wastegate??? :shock:

im sure he can do a rear brace for less than £150 will find out tomoz,the exhaust housing is the exhaust side of the turbo which i am planning on changing so i can run a 3" exhaust pipe straight to it rather than it tappering down to a 21/2" as for the external wastegate all the big bhp japanese cars have them for better flow if its good enough for a skyline its good enough for an alpine just got to see if it fits :roll: ive been tolled that heat wrapping your turbo can be bad as its keeping the turbo hot when engine is turned off so its boiling the oil thats left in the turbo not sure how true this is just what some one had said to me

I think there is a big heat difference between:
Swithing off a hot engine that has just been raced and pushed hard,
and letting it run a few mins to allow things to cool down a considerably.

I always run the engine to allow the turbo to cool before switching it off, but after a hard few laps the 'hot' light comes on.
Steve, I cant think what youve been told is right, having a bare turbo is more likely to cause you problems as the oil in the turbo can be subject to sudden cooling after a run and then crystalise.

The oil left in the turbo will be subject to elevated heats wrapped or no .It will be a tiny amount anyway and the only way to cool the turbo down is to keep it running for a while to let the oil do its job .
