I hope this is within rules - I thought you might enjoy this video interview with the chief engineer of the new Alpine A110:

I see the New Alpine got a mention on Top Gear last night.

Gorgeous, but over priced and sounds like toilet cleaner were the comments. I think the UK market might struggle again but hopefully not.

So the current TG presenters are no better than the last lot.
Did I hear in the past they they killed of Vecra sales, because the car was too good at everything which made it "boring". An image that no one wanted.
They deservere to be sued

we have to assume that the BBC had their request for a car either tested or in the studio turned down hence their rather negative mention...... got the weight completely wrong and UK pricing not even disclosed yet.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Finally watched the bit on Top Gear about the new Alpine. Now I really know why I can't watch any of the rest of that amateur TV Show!

Tamsin Gregg asking why they called it after a toilet cleaner and not one of the so-called car fan presenters picking her up about the outstanding history of the name! Then Chris Harris suggesting that Renault had spotted a gap in the market and missed the target with the price!! Try getting a mass produced Cayman new with anything in it for £40k as he suggested!

Outrageous BBC rubbish poorly presented and acted.

Yes, it was rubbish.
I'm sure they're all just reading scripts, I can't believe that what you see is 'sort of structured' chat.
So I blame the script writers who are probably more interested in getting laughs and nudge-nudge giggles than talking sensibly about the cars. That would be too boring.
And, as others have pointed out, factually incorrect 'fake news'.

WOW, I would get a job with La Poste if that's what they will be driving to deliver letters.

First RHD picture I found.
For all those who find it's overpriced, meh... i really don't think so.
It is really a passionnate and selfish car that respond to the Alpine DNA.
From an insider info, bookings are full, and if you order one now, delivery will be May 2019...
They are working on increasing production capacity right now.
Having an Alpine, and especially this new one makes you like unique and different to the others.
Most of those who saw it in the flesh just fell in love with it.
Seeing it in the street makes you just feel Whouah !!!

RHD Version.

Any information on when the more powerful version will be launched. I think I will wait for that it had more scoops and vents and looked a bit more aggressive.
