yep thats what I've been pressing - black on mine ('89 atmo)!

Its a funny thing but the trip was stable till I had the elec work done last week. It has been telling me garbage mind u - like I have 1548 miles to go on a tank of fuel!! So I'm thinking now I have a stable connection Neomi is now giving me real info ie the flow valve is fuuked??

Nah............ mine doesn't look like that, hasn't got a red end :lol: I know cos the atmo computer is playing silly buggers .Have reset it so no flashing but it's doing a loaves and fishes ,still reads 12.8 gallons and doing 99.9 MPG , two weeks now .

MINE READS 0.02 MPG AND DRINKS LIKE A FISH :lol:
AND OCCAISIONALLY THE SPEEDO MOVES USUALLY WHEN GOING OVER A BUMP

Yep i'VE TRIED EVERYTHING LIKE THAT! (oops caps lock pressed by mistake) yer - prayed to Budda - rubbed rosewood oil on the exhaust - taken a virgin on the back seat - OK THAT WAS A LIE!!

Yes ,been there ,done that .The speedo doesn't work very often and the mileage is stuck and and ect.I'l take it out and see if a good clean helps.

Then the problem seems to lie with something more technical and here endeth my advice! :? And you'll need to pray to more then Budda where GTAs are concerned! Pray to everything you can think of! It still won't help! :P :? :roll: :D

Worth a try but be careful....my first atmo did this and I couldnt sort it, till one day, I was playing with the temp thermistor in the engine bay (front of left hand bank) and one of the power wires earthed out on the engine.

Got in the car and the trip was working!. If it ever went wrong again, I did the same and it worked again.

Don't ask me why... :lol:
