With people arriving at random times and not many in display cars maybe we should set a mid morning rendezvous point to say hello?

10.30 at the Scramble cafe in the MT yard perhaps?

Any ideas? Or just rely on phone.

Unit 3 is OX25 5QL for coffee tea and biscuits afterwards. Presumably leaving Bicester heritage at 2pm unless the event ends naturally earlier due to weather etc.

I'll be there in my red F550M with a few pals, but would like to pop along to RAOC Towers afterwards to put some faces to names if that's ok? Getting there about 10ish to avoid the rush!

You are more than welcome.

Also I will have plenty of RAOC calendars with me tomorrow.

Considering the rain, this was a reasonable day out.
As usual the food was over priced and buns poor quality, but an event in support of a good cause and great to catch up with a few Alpine enthusiasts.
Of course a good range of cars to see too.

Here's an official food review as we tried 3 lol

Bacon roll. £4. Taste 7/10. Value 7/10
Sausage roll. £4. Taste 9/10. Value 7/10
Cheeseburger £5.50 Taste 4/10. Value 5/10.
Egg roll. Sold out. Not tested.

Comments.

Long queues due to the popularity of the event. Suggest additional food stations next time.

The burger was not cooked throughout and the middle was inedible. The tester left about 1/4 of the burger. Much cheaper than Goodwood but would not buy again. You can save 50p by deleting the cheese slice.

The bacon roll was fine according to the tester but they would have liked to add egg for 50p if it had not been sold out.

A win for the Sausage bap. The tester Summer is a highly critical sauage connoisseur and happily ate it all.

yep, we need photos of the burger, should be rare in the middle.

a bit off topic but what was the event like, car wise?
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

the main field was full of Porsches...in fact, I did wonder if there were any other cars, but a quick walk around the main building showed a huge number of cars of various ages, so not a bad morning.
Food was standard outdoor even fare, but with a bit of choice from the various vendors.
I didn't take many pictures but Stephen and others did....a XKSS replica, a matra and the chicken shed/specialist Parts emporium....A610 and GTA clutch...a spot the difference test, PRV engines...now after such a boring set of shots, there must be some better ones somewhere? Click if you must.....
