I hope the oil slick underneath came from something else !!! :?
Driving an A610 is just so sublime.

The oil slick is from my white GTA which I had to move to make space. This was the only spot big enough as the car is 2m wide!

It is a bit 'Pimp My Ride'!

It looks better than the photos though which were taken in the dark. The colour looks like the same rouge imperial metallic as the Le Mans. It makes the standard GTA and even the Le Mans look very tame in comparison. Whether that's a good thing or not I'm not sure but you certainly won't miss it! :?

From my research to date I can confirm it is not a home grown conversion but an original Pahnhenrich cabriolet from Autohaus Pahnhenrich www.renault-pahnhenrich.de

Wolfgang Pahnhenrich was comissioned to make 5 for Alpine in the early 90's as a design study and the cars feature on page 158 of the Les Alpines GTA. (The GTA bible!). Alpine did not put the car into full production but were inspired to produce an A610 convertible as a result. I believe only one example of this exists in yellow. It would seem that this GTA is the original car (first conversion) presented to Alpine as it is the only one of the 5 with the full leather Recaro retrim and special BBS three piece alloys (sporting 345/35/15s at the rear!). The other 4 sport a standard interior and milder wheels, although the bodywork is identical.

I have just come across an adjustable knob in the centre console cubby
hole which looks like either brake bias or boost so some further investigation is required...

No it's too wide for the circuit  but might be making a social visit if the weather is fine and I can buy some tax.

Stephen,

the wather looks good for today, but as for "too wide" it can't be as wide as a GTA going sideways.
Go on, take it for a few laps
