Classic Motoring Magazine

Postby paulrob100 » Mon May 09, 2016 8:41 am

The June issue of Classic Motoring Magazine has a feature on the GTA / A610. Good article with a buying guide. Looks like the GTA is starting to be taken seriously at last :up

I can't find this obscure publication. I'll try Smith's tomorrow.

Looks like a good write up. Where did Dredge buy that A610 lemon from? Chequer Flag Sports and Performance cars I'd wager...

Harry Pyles and that company name do not appear on companies house website.
I suspect poor Harry may have got a few facts wrong when he typed on the forum.

Unless the article is like Wheeler Dealers, one has to suspect some of it is sesationalised for the readership.

Maybe look a bit closer to home lol :Butt

Seriously though not sensationalised he had a bad run with that car and I had first hand experience of the problems with the unnamed specialist and high resto quotes via phone calls at the time. It was me that pointed him in another direction.

Judge Dredge ...He still's not that enamoured with it ..I popped over to give it a service, missing slightly and change brake fluid and bat as it's sat for two years little used .We went through the article to fine tune it and then he was off on a trackday in the Alp that weekend .Seems it went OK :A610

It didn't last long sadly apparently a heater valve or matrix has sprung a leak now.

We are hoping to see him at Prescott though :-)
