Had a series of Renault Sports and Renaults . back in the 70's I started with a R16TX ,followed by a R30 V6
My first RS was a 197 followed by a 197 Team F1 in Liquid yellow .
My current car is a Liquid yellow RS Megane 230 Team F1.It is running 285 BHP.
I attend various shows and track days and have visited the factory in Dieppe, I will hopefully one day own an Alpine.

Welcome to the forum.

Renault 30, huh ?

Check out this little pearl for sale in Norway, bet there's not many in this condition !

Translation of the text....
1978 Renault 30TS - 110.000km
For sale is a brilliant example of a now very rare Renault 30TS with manual transmission (most were delivered with automatic!). Originally owned by Dealer Principale in Bordeaux, France until a few years ago when it was imported to Norway, this car has been cared for with proper whole life.
It underwent a full technical overhaul in 2014 so that all of the mechanics is 100%. This included when a brand new PRV engine with newly manufactured block from the United States, new components from Holland (piston, crank shaft, cam shafts, valves etc.), Reconditioned radiator with Evans Waterless coolant and silicone tubing, the list goes on and on. All components which had the smallest difference from the new efficacy and tolerability were exchanged.
The car had a "bare metal" exterior coating of a highly reputable Ferrari specialist in the UK which is also responsible for Prince Charles and Prince William's vintage cars, among other things, an Aston Martin convertible that William got by father Charles in nuptial gift !.
The reason for refinishing was nothing other than that the car had at the time the original lacquer which showed a few scratches and dents from 30+ years of use. To ensure that it was solid and that all of the metal was in the best condition was all the paint removed by hand and the car gone over with a magnifying glass. The car was so good that it did not have any work and it was applied 25 layers of lacquer so classic Ferraris being restored - the paint was sanded flat between each layer so there are no signs of "orange peel". The car was completed at the same time as a few newly renovated Aston Martin and Ferrari to a value of over 500 million. One could not tell the difference in quality of work Renault received compared with the other cars.
After painting, new carpets laid in passenger and luggage as well as Dynamat soundproofing inserted. The original roof cover was as clean and white as new as it ver no intention of replacing it. Newly chromed bumpers front and rear as well as restored Aluminium TX rims with TRX summer (as these cars were delivered original). New Moto Lita wood steering wheel and new windshield is there too!
Furthermore, it was installed DEFA heater and auxiliary heating and the original radio from the car was modified with auxiliary input for iPod on the back - an invisible modification from the outside. Remote controlled door locks are mounted and controlled from the keychain.
The car also has new clutch, new voltage regulator, new battery, new service parts (ignition plugs, etc..) And is ready for summer!
Original steel wheels with Hakkapellitta studded (used only one season) supplied. In all, this is the best Renault 30TS model that runs on the roads, and the most costly. Very many of these cars were scrapped when they were replaced or they disappeared with inadequate maintenance. This car has always been maintained at the most microscopic level and it shows.
