Northern Meet Sunday April 17th

Due to un popular demand I didn't have our Annual meet in January so decided to do one when the better weather is around.

So how about Sunday April 17th? I'm flexible with venue but we usually have it somewhere in between Manchester, Chester and Stoke so it's fairly close for everyone.

We have been to the following in recent years so it's upto you guys?

We usually meet from 12pm inside for a meal at 1pm then leave after a chat and a pint around 4 pm. I suppose we could have a drive somewhere afterwards if people wanted. Oulton park is near to the fox and barrel which we could go and have a look around.

I should be available on 17th April, although may need to get away early. There's nothing on Oulton Park's events calendar. The Fox looks nice!

Whilst on the subject of Oulton Park, would there be any interest in a club display at the Gold Cup meeting, August Bank Holiday?

No reason why I shouldn't be available so count me in. It will give me the opportunity to put some mile on the GTA after RATS
tender ministrations.

Count me in at this stage, I'd be really interested to meet a few owners and see the cars to get a feel for how far I'm along with making mine a reasonable restoration. Looking forward to meeting you all

Right folks all booked for Sunday 17th April, a table for 12 people at 2pm. I suggest we meet at 1pm in the left hand car park. Have a chat and look round the cars then go in for a pint and bite to eat. Here is all the info for the pub.

I will be there Martin.

My brother is doing 3 marathons in 3 weekends starting with Manchester on 10th April, Llanelli on 17th April and London on 24th April. As his Trainer and nutritionist, I will be supporting him in Manc and London but he has allowed me a day off to come to the Meet. He is raising money for NSPCC and we did a sponsored car wash a couple of weeks ago. The A610 was on display and despite me having a couple of Lotus's as well as various other exotica turning up, I was surprised just how much attention the car got. A number of people were really enthusiastic about it and I think the re-launch of Alpine has raised the publics awareness.
