Not in the same league as you boys pic wise but I had a last blast this afternoon before the Alpine goes on SORN.

Still going well and bringing many smiles to my face every time I go out in it. See you in March Merlin the third.

I'll see your sunny Christmas day photo and raise you a wet windy Boxing day just off the Cat and fiddle towards Derbyshire bridge...............
Image

Some time on my own away from the Christmas madness! ...........didn't really mind the average speed cameras, just left it in fourth and enjoyed riding the turbo train .........lift and squirt.....lift and squirt.
Roads started to dry out on the way back from Macclesfield on the 54, plus no cameras on the narrow stretch and hardly anyone else on the road so I could push on a bit......happy bunny now ....had my fix!
GTA is filthy now but dried out and all in working order.

Well done boys, I'm jealous as I'm SORN at the moment as it was supposed to be the coldest winter on records...Hmmm never mind.

Ryan - If you keep going towards Congleton the speed camera's run out and you are left with some great roads still :shhh ;)

Not for the ‘Best roads thread’, from a driving point of view, but the views are good.

I took these first thing this morning, a couple of miles from home, on the Disley to Kettleshulme road with Whalley Bridge and the Toddbrook reservoir in the distance.

I haven’t used the car for a few months so the first half mile had the expected misfire but this soon cleared and it was back on song.

Fortunately the sun broke through the clouds and the rest of the morning’s drive was in sunshine, which made a change from the almost permanent rain, and dark skies we’ve had here in recent weeks.

Nice one John. Some of these would have looked good in our Mythical RAOC 11 month Calendar. We are into the 3rd week of Jan and still no sign of it.....

My 1986 GTA V6 Turbo, reg B6 GTA............20 years of ownership this year.

.....Gets as much use as dry, unsalted roads allow.......a great road car, different, a head turner and a regular discussion topic from strangers about what it is and what it can do !!

This pic was taken at Crystal palace sprint meeting..
