Air con is now working and I,m wondering how cold it should get
are we talking stiff nipple cold or inside an igloo cold?
I would say its just comfortable on a hot Scottish summers day 8)

There not the greatest system going - cool rather cold inside on a warm day - so more than adequate for Scotland!

Lee,
When i was on hols in America i saw some good kits for R12 to R134a conversion so i got one sent over and done it myself,I had a lot of trouble getting anyone interested in touching it cause of the R12 :? It really was a simple job to do(It was up and working within half an hour)
If you search ebay USA you can get the full kit delivered for about £50

A610 air con is chilly, should be better than 'comfortable..'

David,
Both heater control cables had come of,once i got them attached again the aircon is much better 8)

Lee,
Thats icluding the gas, leak stop, oil,uv dye, preasure gauge, retrokit and delivery from USA,if i was you mate i'd check your heater controls are attached,I'm sure you told me before your compressor was spinning and you had bubbles in the viewing window so theres a chance your heater cables came of.........Its worth a look
Cheers

Jamie
