Beware though there are multiple male / female variations.

If CBS do them then worth talking to them and sending a picture perhaps as they're very good guys (they used to be 10 mins down the road from me when we were in Kent)

These just arrived...made by Delphi...
I did not read this post..and ordered from a company who had minimum orders. The white one is a Renault part...I had that already.
Tdc and ignition module plugs and terminals will be replaced on my car. The TDC sensor now replaced but loom plug and ignition module power plugs are missing clips and cable ties..so can fix this now..(car still cuts out from time to time..could be heat related..but want to rule out connectors first)
Note the tool.. that's brilliant !!! Saves a ton of faffing to remove pins. I might be persuaded to part with a few plugs to recover costs if anyone has need...maybe at the next meet I'll bring some along..

I bought these connectors on-line from Demon Tweeks this year. All housings, terminals and seals were included in a pack for a mating pair. Good for small quantities and half the price of RS components.
Black connectors have a different key position to grey ones. You can cut another slot in the internal circular plastic to match black to grey so they mate together. (If you match colours there is no cutting involved).
Make sure the crimps are really tight. The wire sizes are small on engine loom sensors, but the terminals are sized to be capable of taking thicker cables.
RS components sell various different size terminals and seals for different cable insulation diameters + male & female types. There is a bewildering array on their website. You do have to buy hundreds of terminals at a time at high cost.
And Dave, I would like to know details of the barb retraction tool for the future. It would have made the job much easier. Either where did you get the tool, or what is its part number, or what are its basic dimensions so I could make / source / improvise one?

This is the Delphi one I bought. I paid £10 + vat from raffenday..but it was a bit of a faff as they seem to be a wholesaler..
It's £27 from RS
Mouser also have them and terminals..but again I think you need to first set up an account..but can then be ordered online.
Terminal Removal Tool Weather-Pack Male And Female

I also ordered a cheapo eBay 11 piece tool..yet to arrive (at sorting office). For £4..no idea if it works...
