CO valve adjustment, needed !!

Postby R1313 » Wed Jun 10, 2015 8:26 pm

Hallo. Today I was at the vehicle inspection. High CO (0.58) and to high idle. It seems that my adjustment valve is stuck, can not adjust. Does anyone have a working to sell? Item number 60 01 016 753. Number 4 on the picture.

4 is sender to boost gauge .
CO pot is item 3 .
You can take the cover off ,there is a round plug in the side which needs removing first .Then you will see a small screwhead which adjusts the pot .

Ha! Yes that would explain it .....I do not think I have a spare but you could just put a resistor in to get it through emissions ...MFAULKS will be the man to ask for value

You can make one from a variable resistor - I made one when I was experimenting. I think it's still on the shelf in the garage.
