Will try and do some brief broadcasts from events on Periscope over the season. What is it? Its an app that lets you broadcast live video from your device and it generally stays on the site for 24 hours or so as far as I can tell so it is a very of the moment thing rather than You Tube. It means you do have to watch it live or soon after and sometimes that means either dropping everything you are doing or just missing out.
It does help if you are a Twitter user but its not essential, you will need to follow other users in order to be informed when they are broadcasting and can therefore be linked to your Twitter account to follow your followers. If not you can just manually add who you want to follow and when they start broadcasting you receive a pop up notification on your phone.
Nissan at Le mans this year have used it a lot and even covered some of their private testing. (
Its on the i app store and whatever the android equivalent is.

Hopefully, and it depends on a decent signal, plan a Alpine themed Le mans broadcast on Wednesday (10th June) evening.
