Gaz suspension - height adjustment

Postby darrenbiggs » Sun May 10, 2015 6:52 pm

Does anyone know whether there's a hard stop for the thread on the adjuster rings on the GAZ suspension? (Or can the ring come off the bottom of the unit)

ie If I adjust the suspension to make it lower will the ring stop moving downwards when it runs out of thread, or do I need to watch out for it coming off the end of the thread (not good)
I'm just here for the gasoline.

Pretty sure it can come off .Should be two rings, one platform, one locking tho so you could see if does without moving the spring .

Don't go too low , they wear out back tyres about 50% quicker. John was having something made to adjust the camber, not sure if its in production yet though.

Standard GTA springs Tony (Renault over Gaz as opposed to Gaz over Gaz if you get what I mean). Going too low isn't an option at the front, not looking like a Dakar Raider is the issue.

I don't think I can get them low enough to bring it back to the right level, so likely to have to be new springs (again)
