GTA Koenig

Postby DAVOhorn » Thu Aug 18, 2005 8:30 pm

Dear All,

The GTA Koenig is back on the sale section.

The price has been reduced.

Is the price now tempting?

I have spoken to the vendor and am interested in the car.

Is this a sensible idea.?

Any comments before i waste petrol money going to see the car.

regards david

Still looking for that elusive car to fill the gap in my life that HiFi cant fill.

David, you've been looking for a year now, or maybe I should say, you've missed out on a year of fantastic motoring. For me, its a left hooker and quite pricey, for about 5-6 k you can get some really good low milage GTA turbos.

Strange car that too, not just for the way it looks, but Id like to check its history. Strange that it is a K reg, yet has a flat bonnet, non reccessed nosecone, phase 1 turbo engine..

Yep,

one day i will decide to make a decision on the purchase of my next car.

It will be at Donnington Renault show and be for sale there.

I am speaking to the vendor tomorrow evening.

The car is in Blackpool which is a very long walk from Suffolk.

I have looked at about 6 cars now .

None at the 6k price bracket were as described or worth buying.

The best one is the one David Gentleman kindly let me drive when i visited him last year.

In autotrader east anglia there is silver one for sale . I beleiev it is one of the on es i have looked at. Same price but differrent phone no.

What does look promising is the next Clio 200 hopefuly cup/trophy next year.

The run out Trophy looks very interesting but for the seating position which induces back ache in my old spinal column. This is why i have not bought the 172 or 182.

regards David

I wouldnt hang out for the next generation of Clio....Renault have described the current one as its effort at making the ultimate drivers hot hatch (along those lines anyway)...the next generation is going to be a softer more gadget laden affair.
Anyway.....since when did a Clio (unless its the V6) appear on the same shopping list as a GTA????
