The clutch slave cylinder on your car could be the same as on the A310V6. My copy of the parts book shows two numbers, 77 00 588 892 and 77 00 732 756. BIG MVS or others with parts knowledge could probably confirm that it is the same as the A310.

I bought a secondhand GTA slave cylinder from BIG MVS and this fits my A310. It was in good condition but I fitted a new seal kit and it has worked fine. BIG MVS possibly might have a good secondhand one.

Below are a two links for slave cylinders that match the above Renault part number. There are probably more if you do some searching on the part numbers. The DeLorean link shows one that looks similar. You'll probably have to register on the site to buy from there.

Thanks John,

I had a look at simon auto website and they list different part numbers (and prices...) for a310/gta atmo, gta turbo and a610 so assumed they were different...

if they are the same there are a few equivalent online by bendix and trw which are much cheaper... are those any good?
or is it better to just change seals on original?

Thanks for the qualification Lee. I did say it needs someone with parts knowledge. The one I had from Martin must have been from a GTA atmo.

Mogster242,
I hadn't noticed that your GTA was a turbo. Maybe someone on here has the parts book and can advise the correct part number.
I would think that Bendix cylinders would be perfectly acceptable as Bendix were original equipment for A110 brake calipers and master cylinder. I'm not familiar with TRW but someone like Lee might know if they are acceptable.
Regarding the slave cylinder on your car, I guess it depends upon why you are considering a change. If it's leaking, a new seal might solve the problem but if the bore is worn or corroded a new one might be a better option.

60 and 77 numbers quoted for turbo but 7700770689 cross refs to TRW one PJN118 .I did find some Bosch ones a while back but run out of stock .Ebay Germany list at around £100 .I do have a few old ones that would probably be serviceable ,
I don't know what Ced regards as expensive mind :wave :Butt

Thank you all for your replies, I will look up those part numbers and see what I can find...

Clee, the item on its own is not that expensive but it all adds up, innit ;)
