It needs work but then the price reflects and it does have a few bells and whistles :up

It's got till just after Xmas (don't want to take the wee wee out of Lee and leave it at his place for any length of time without doing anything or paying him any money like some people). After that it will be broken for spares I'm afraid. :axe

Hope somebody buys this. I thought it was a rather nice car when I saw it at the Northern Meet a couple of years back with some tasteful mods making it look like a rather mean machine. Defo worth the £6k sorted. Please don't let the butcher of Sandbach have his wicked way. Here endeth my plea :hang

Turbo 2 man and Silver GTA man of course.

Mind you I bet it happens to every garage around the country, man buys car, man can't afford to fix car and has no where to keep it so leaves it at the garage for free storage.

Just want to keep RATS going that's all. We need to support our "Northern" Alpine specialist as it's hard work running a garage and no doubt even harder when you specialise in a 300 user base french car.

Agreed. It is a challenge to make a car business work and many customers don't realise how much time and effort goes into maintaining / working on older cars. We often spend hours / days trying to diagnose faults or replace rusty crusty parts that you just can't charge a customer for. And then they pick them up and quibble on you charging an hour to do a job that actually took 8!

I probably have to deal with 8-10 cars that people have dumped on us long term and in most cases there is nothing we can do. They are either waiting for stuff we have no control over or need a huge amount of work that quite frankly, we can't even think about doing when we are so busy with the day to day running of the business. And then they turn up and comment that the car is deteriorating. Well yes, take it away then sunshine and put it in your own garage (O yes, you haven't got any space hence why the bloody thing is left here). I've had a major moan at a few people this week funnily enough. :Mass

Must be the time of year for a good old moan :up
to be fair I've only ever had two bad customers but nightmare ones ....the T2 and a GTA still here after two years .T2 got legal and I won but could have well done without the 18months stress and 3.5k lawyers fees :crazy

So turning back to the GTA...how bad is it , if its a "DIY not professional job"?
Should I call for details?
