I called the windscreen supplier yesterday and I will have a price today normally,
the retail price will be similar to a Renault price, the club member price will be considerably cheaper.

Hi Andy, did you get a price? I may need to buy it myself as am being given the run around by insurance / Autoglass.
Crack has grown to about 12" so my need is getting more urgent. Thanks, John

the more the better really... if we get more than 10 or 12 I might be able to get the price down a little more.

I know .What I mean is the club could make up the shortfall? After all, we are all going to be needing a screen at some point .RATS would take some but it's all down to cashflow atm .
The club has a container full of parts that are dead money so why not get some of that shifted and fund something we are all going to benefit from instead .

Hi Andy,

I need Autoglass to order my screen so they can pay the full price (although they will need your contact details - Autoglass Hendon that is).

I could do with getting it soon - screen has a crack that is busy expanding. MOT due next February though so as long as plod doesn't give me any grief I am OK for a while. :pray

I need a list of interested buyers please,

if you want to invest in one at club price then need it changing by insurance we can "sell the insurance a screen at the insurance price" the screen will already be at your house ready for them to fit, we can then send you the money minus admin handling charge once they have paid the bill.... you will then receive a profit on your investment.....

I have done this with spider screens in the past..... so any takers to kick it into 1st gear?
