A 314 XJM. Spotted clockwise on M25 between Heathrow and M4, making "good progress" 1 tail pipe so I gues not a V6, driven by a man wearing driving gloves.

Nice car, the gloves wern't gordini blue !!!

FYI, some (possibly all, but I'm not certain) A310 V6s only had 1 tailpipe when they left the factory. But I can't remember seeing one recently with the factory single tail pipe.

Original A310 V6 had single pipe exhaust with cast iron manifolds. Most now have the Devil-type 3-branch manifolds and probably stainless steel double exhaust boxes.
