Vince, I have been having the same problem as Lee, but also if I go from the RAOC site where I am logged in, and go to, say, my email site, then back, I have to log in each time but am unable to do it in the box below the RAOC logo on the LHS, but can only log in from the "Login" button top right ... circle with arrow within where once I type "J" a drop down box shows my User Name, click that box and user name jumps into the box, then when I click the cursor in the password, it is inputted automaticly. I then tick the box for "Log me in each time.... " then login", and all is OK till the next time. The only thing I note is that there is a padlock symbol in the password box LHS.... the one that appears not to respond to cursor.
I have seen your post about cookies, but I have spent ages looking for somewhere in the computer (IE), and this site, but for the life of me I can find no reference to them as a consequence I cannot check if they are being accepted or not.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Privacy policies ? I think Mozilla was telling me it was ' not secure' or words to that effect and my IE is set to medium for to stop 9,12 and 14 year olds downloading all sorts of shite ' I didn't mean to ' and feckin up our lives .......

This big gap thing only happens when the browser window is reduced
to below 1100px (approx) width - I generally have Opera using about
1000px of my 1440px width screen and the big gaps appear. This
could be because you are using a mix of fixed px widths and variable
%age based widths. IE doesn't respond well to these, especially if
you're using floats in the CSS.
Regards,
Steve

Avatars creating formatting issues should now be rectified.

I have imposed a limit of 160x160px max image size for all avatars and removed the ability to link avatars remotely hosted elsewhere as phpBB apparently ignores file sizes on remotely hosted images.

If your avatar is remotely hosted, you can still use it, however I would strongly suggest that you consider uploading it to the website in the case that the remote host goes down or the remote file is moved/deleted. This can be done in your UCP > Profile > Edit Avatar.

I thought I would add another FAQ for those that want to use the "Find Member" section.

The system uses the Username of the member, so when you do a search you will find it easier if you use a "Wildcard"
This is a ( * ) symbol.

i.e. If you are looking for say... Mr Dell, then enter... *dell* or *ell* this will display anything with dell or ell in the search results.. just don't enter a single letter as a search.

Hope this helps..

Vince..

What version of both IE and Mozilla are you using? do you get an errors on login? "Mozilla ,just won't have it" doesn't give much to go on .. lol

Yes Sean played about with the redirect of the many Names Mr Dell has for the site..
I would recommend that ALL clear their book marks for the club and make a new one using the URL www.renaultalpine.co.uk as this is where the site is! that way you won't get kicked out and need to log back.
