A610/Spider refurbished wheels with slicks

Postby clee » Mon Apr 21, 2014 5:39 pm

Bit of a fouling issue with this setup on the JIL GTA ....Fronts are too tall as the 610 arch is a couple of inches bigger .
Therefore these are for sale .
Fully refurbished ,blasted then powdercoated ,all centercaps and bolts .Fitted with Mich slicks and I also have a full set of wets .

Cheers guys .
Yes I know of Tim but his is road legal and would get thrown into another class on slicks + he would then need to cage the car as well :A610

Usually sprints in road going mind... wouldn't get away with slicks.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

weirdsville... your post was not showing when I made my post yet yours is a hour earlier...... sorry, I do hate posters who don't read a thread properly. I still have forum log on issues which may be to blame.

I will pop a 610 rim with std rubber on as per Richard's FAT-ARSE .The slicks are taller ...Will measure up properly today and see .The tyre fouls on the wing but I need to take the springs off and set it at ride height to check .
I can find common rubber to suit that will clear but it's new and fronts are about £200 each + will need to get rears to match .The point of going this way was to minimise expenditure on stuff that may well get fecked up/be binned during test .......R&D's a botch
