T2 Roll Cage

Does anyone produce these anymore?

If so please can you point me in the right direction?
If not is 2nd hand or bespoke the only options?

Best speak to maxi man but OMP make them you can get them from demon tweeks about £500 but not painted or try John price rallying but he will charge a fortune

I recently bought an OMP bolt in cage for a T2, it is not yet fitted but I have "trial" fitted and it appears a relatively good fit.

You need to "weld in" the fixing plates which need more fabrication than what they supply therefore unless you are fairly handy both welding and metal work you will need some professional help.

The Heigo cage mentioned above is not as far as I know FIA approved and therefore if you plan to compete in the car you may have problems with eligibility.

could be that the cage listed on the Heigo site is not fully FIA, but i would ask them, they will add you the required bars they know what they do. Was the same with my GTA cage. And there was also a problem, that the rules required to laminate steel plates to the GFK to reinforce, but after talking to them they modified the mounting sections on the cage "feet", so i just had to bolt it in. And they re-certificated the cage, so they are really helpy, that is why i recommend them!
Take care that there is enough space for your helmet! Heigo does it very precise and very close to the chassis- body work.

Sorry I should have been more specific, when I referred to FIA approved I meant to add FIA Group 4 Specific. If you intend to use your car in Historic events it must be Group 4 compliant, anything not group 4 won't be allowed and may harm the resale value (as a competition car).

None of this may be relevant but worth knowing.

hmmmmkey...learned something! Don't know about the historic specs.
Surely very interesting to others too, too many different rules for different groups and production years to keep overview!
That's why i finally said, here, please do me a cage with all that it needs.
