Finally got Eurosport Player to work on the PC so I can watch Lemons.
In case anyone else is having issues, then try using Google Chrome as your browser instead of Yahoo; as Windows 7.0 with Silverlight and Yahoo has issues

By the way, do we know how many members are making the trek down there ?

Alpine Lemans news will be posted in the motorsports thread.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Sadly not going this year..... Paid my £2.99 for Eurosport and will sit glumly at home watching it.
The fifth I've missed in 30 years. Probably do me good on consideration!

Next year!

Don't know when that was? It was an underwhelming display by the team, at no point were they competitive within their class for unexplained reasons. The team have been just about the fastest car in the Elms series this year but here they lacked both qualifying and race speed. They were 12 long laps behind the leading car in class that even used the same engine. Disappointing to say the least, but at least they finished so well done to the team on that score.
Not sure where this programme is heading given that works teams are not allowed in LMP2 (so cannot build and run their own chassis) and cannot see Renault funding a LMP1 project given that it will be mega euros competing with Toyota, Audi and Porsche next year and the forthcoming road car with a 1.6 turbo is hardly GT car material...

No problem. Watched the last 3 or 4 hours from bed on Sunday. All got a bit interesting after the downpour ? How many laps did the alpine lose with the burst tyre?

4 laps lost on the class leader between hours 3 and 4. already were a lap down by then anyway.

another 4 laps lost between hours 5 & 6. at this point they were 19th in class.

From then on consistent running and picking up spots, mainly due to others misfortune, running 11th for a while until the final hour and 9th place. 15th overall isn't bad though considering the conditions, pretty sure I remember a year then when barely 15 cars even finished.
