Flasher Relay

Postby pgoldsmith » Tue Jul 12, 2005 4:30 pm

Which of the cluster of relays below the fuse box under the dash is the indicator flasher relay? Mine seems to flash somedays but also stick in the on position which I'm sure will be an MOT failure..
Someone has mentioned you can simply clean the contacts up and that may sort it or is it best just to replace the unit ? :?

Look at the relays, one of them has a small plastic grille on the end for the transducer that makes the beeping sound come out of.

Mine doesnt have the beeping sound when its activating, so I guess it's either because its a late model (1991) or if it's been replaced.
Counting the relay modules from the right, is it the third one ?
