New Renault models

Hi, Thought I would add this from an Avantime member who works for Renault UK
The Alpine bit is very exciting, but you might already know about it ?

[Renault Captur event]
In it's defence it's not as bad as the Juke, and it's the fastest growing market segment Renault needs to be part of it. Given the state of the European market I can't see any manufacturer coming out with the next 'classic' for a while yet. In Renaultland the next big thing will be the relaunch of the Alpine brand which may produce some classics.

The Avi is also a crossover, just an MPV/coupe rather than a hatch/SUV. The Captur also apes the Avi by having the contrasting roof. A few people at Renault have remarked that if Renault brought the Avi out now with the latest engine technology it would actually do quite well. It literally was 'ahead of its time' when it was launched.
