Pictures and info needed on race/rally spec A310 engines..

Postby John Law » Wed May 15, 2013 11:40 pm

Hey,

Im searching for any info, pics or names of people who have experience with racing A310s on circuit or rally. I am particularly interested in dry sump setups. Kevin Jones has been kind enough to offer me a look around his dry sumped PRV motor but any other info would be great.

Regards,

John.

I'm not sure if anyone here has raced a modified one.
Richard Thomlinson sprinted a standard one for a few years (no idea where he is now but a real nice guy).

Terry Briggs rallycrossed one a few years back but soon swapped the PRV for a 'warrior' headed Pinto anchor.
He just thought of the car as a tool and knocked the daylights out of it.

There were a few PRVs used in Autocross which may have been tweaked.
More likely to find the info from Mr Sage if you can corner him for long enough.
Alpine A110, Renault Safrane 2.5dt, Hudson Kindred Spirit (Renault powered), transAlp (Honda) and Ducati Multistrada
