You have to give Renault their due ; when it comes to putting a very quick car together it does not take them long to get on the pace

Hold on a minute - the race is on Sunday - Saturday is just practise.

Given that this car is nothing more than a paint job - isn't it running? Are we turning up to see a static display?

And while we are on the subject - who said they could change the Alpine font? Everyone will think they're trying to flog car hi-fi. Or it's a tuned BMW (worse).

I would want to see the car running. I would prefer race day. Practice is pretty boring TBH. Maybe I should go to Le Mans.

its qualifying ....so.the cars will be going for it and as Mark already commented the car was quickest in class testing recently at Castellet
