For Sale: Le Mans 03.

Just to keep the car in the public eye guys it is still for sale at this time. I have had some interest but both parties have said the same thing “I would have it as soon as I sell the car I have for sale.”

There must be somebody out there that would have it off me?

I'd say Pistonheads too, sold my Esprit within 3 days.

I forgot to mention I withdrew the add then put it back on Pistonheads for a little less but it did sell

03 has now been sold to a club member “TomK”, I am sure he will introduce himself to the group in due course. Tom is a native of Australia and lives in Melbourne so 03 will be shipped out to enjoy a better climate. Before it goes though Tom will be making full use of the accumulated knowledge within the club and will have work done at JL Engineering and a re-spray by Andy.

It was with a twinge of sadness that I drove 03 down to Rotherhithe to drop it off at the premises of JL Engineering today but I am somewhat consoled knowing that the work I was planning to have carried out over a number of years will be done in the next few months before the car heads down under. I know that Tom will indeed take very good care of and enjoy the car just as any of us would, but with more sunshine! Plus he has promised to keep in touch and send photos of 03 “Enjoying retirement in the kinder climate”.

Car 3 will find when he gets to Melbourne that he has a relation there as Car 10 went to live there a little while ago but I am not sure if its new owner was also called Tom! I will have to check my records. We had best keep an eye on our remaining cars as they may all go out to a warmer climate
