I wondered what you might think, especially at that starting price. Looks pretty pristine too.

In fact I know the guy... through email anyway.
Shame he has decided to sell it in order to buy a house... Effectively giving it to Gordon Brown as stamp duty.
Now that is a crime!

Saw this one when it last went on ebay and it's still in the same condition, I know for a fact that that it would cost more then 3K to put it back on the road dunno where the guy got his quote from???, as the rear roll bar and the windscreen mounting are a bit expensive, I 've got a windscreen in stock for starters......

Yeah, I agree Andy, a hell of a lot more than £3k... Say £5-6K, makes it worth about £7K to buy praps....
Though there are a lot of parts on there.
Did you get the light covers okay?

Yes mate many thanks, they arrived the next morning,

an easy 6k to fix it up and it's got transmission problems also, without seeing it in the flesh i couldn't commit and it's a real botch to match the yellow paint .....the side windows have gone as well so that means the doors ar probabley damaged it's a nice project for someone, or is ok to break, or to save a couple of quid on the repair you could bin the screen and fix a wind deflector in and it would be the only Rhd wind deflector model in existence!

Andy

you could but you would have to change the rear chassis frame as the Helem wheelbase is longer as the car uses the V6 PR engine and gearbox, ut the company who own the rights to the Helem use their own chassis not the original hydro aluminium one as used on the spider,

It would be an intersting project as I've never seen a road helem in the flesh only thr 2 race cars which were at Le Mans a few years ago so it would be a very rare beast. :?:
