Thanks, I must admit at one stage when Andy (the guy whose cheque BOUNCED if you are reading this) was driving it and really enthusiastic about it I thought to myself do I really want to sell it. It would appear that perhaps it wasn't such a good idea putting it up for sale in the first idea.

Yes I agree I think I'll probably keep the car and do a few subtle upgrades like the brake kit Mellowyellow has on his as I cooked the brakes at the Classic LeMans. The Esprit is consuming money at a vast rate at the moment so I'm in no hurry to do the A610 but looking at the suspension components on the A610 the other day whilst replacing the battery I can see a bit of work is needed there.

O.K. folks the car is back up for sale and would prefer to sell it to someone on here before I let the time wasters and dreamers that inhabit Pistonheads know about it, same price as before.

Think it's sold already to a local guy sounds like the sort of person who will look after it properly and cherish it. So far I have had 5 serious and a few not so serious like £12K offers just goes to show people are after these cars

I've bought myself a 2008 RS 60 Boxster instead of the fire breathing 997 911 Turbo S the Boxster is such fun to drive I've managed to get one with Sport Chrono Plus and Carbon Ceramic brakes so shouldn't cook the brakes on trackdays active suspension on these cars is so good

The Syder though is a bit special, certainly a cut above a Boxster and the first to get the sports chassis which is a good step forward.

Don't get the Boxster thing ever since my Dad had one a few years back. Granted it was the entry level 2.7 model but I don't think I have ever been so underwhelmed. Common as muck too. It's your money though David

I would agree if it was just a boxster as I have been in several and as you say they really don't light your fire. However having been in the Spyder which is a lot tighter and more involving, I think you may change your mind.
David, Get yours up to Mark at Backdraft Motorsport for then to breath on if you fancy a little extra :-).

AAh, just googled it to make sure it was the one I was thinking about but sadly no, scrap the trip to Backdraft. Nice enough car though.

Thought it was this one.
