Don't forget you will need cash euros to pay on the day.

62 euros + some lunch money so would advise you take 100 euros minimum.

WE HAVE A LAST MINUTE PLACE

Julian has had to have an operation on his leg so his place is available last minute. Shuttle is booked. First come first served!

Stephen,

My Budapest trip is now next week, so I was right to bag that Tunnel crossing after all! Please could you confirm that I can just pitch up at Croix, armed with a fistful of EUROs, and expect to join in with the fun, despite having missed their entry deadline?

Thanks.
Spider. Yellow, obviously.

Had a really good few sessions with my car's identical sister (nice picture of us both in the link above) and the cars were very evenly matched. Mine was marginally faster in a straight line, but the tyres made the biggest difference....

First few laps out my Toyo T1R's were quickly up to temp and grippy and I could easily drive away from French matey in the other car. He was on original Pilot SX's - the rock hard wet weather Spider ditch-finders - and had little grip initially, despite the dry track. But as the session wore on (20 mins, so say 16-17 hard laps per outing) my Toyo's started to melt and go gooey whilst his were just coming into their own (it must have reached 30C by lunchtime). The advantage my extra power (probably only about 20-25bhp, as he already had a decent exhaust fittted) was completely undone by his extra grip at that point. Really good fun and interesting. Still wouldn't want those tyres again for road use mind....

Once again a great day for all with the only mishap being a failed clutch on one of the Spiders - plus a snapped clutch pedal, nasty - so hopefully Ian and his Dad got back OK.

The racing (err, pretty much) was excellent fun and there's no way that this ASAN day and the way it's run would get them invited to an ABTDO sanctioned event in the UK ! (Assoc of British Track Day Organisers). Overtaking either side, into corners, into braking zones and mostly wherever people are not expecting it. But everyone was following the same MO and it was all in very good spirit.

Apart from the weirdness of needing full polar/duck-down clothing when leaving home at 4:20am, yet shirt sleeves and Factor-30 to drive back to Calias and then another warm set of clothes after getting of the train, it was a most excellent day.

Thanks Mr D for the organisation!
