2MM ALUMINIUM SATIN ANODISED PLATES
DIGITALLY PRINTED FULL COLOUR PROCESS
AND LACQUERED FINISH
SIZE 75MM X 35MM
"RHD 001" TO RHD"068"
RADIUS CORNERS

Ok guys, the above is the best way to keep cost LOW, I can't show you artwork as most company want payment up-front before starting with anything. The badges will come to about £18 each due to the low number required and this is with a club paying some money towards it. If I can get more people with A610 (from other clubs) to actually commit then the cost can go down. The badges will be individually numbered. I would like full payment from all the above in advance before I commit.

So, how shall we take this forward?

What you guys reckon?, I have paid the deposit so all ready to roll. I like the second badge, but I have asked for the RHD to be made smaller and printed in black. Any comments welcome ASAP!

Hi,

Does it have to be anodised aluminium? Etched (coloured) stainless is more 'permanent' and would not need lacquering - some of you may have seen stainless replacement body labels/plates in DeLoreans, they are very effective. No preference on format.

Paul, the problem we have here is numbers to keep cost down, I did want them to be etched but cost will spiral out of control as we only have just about 14 people who have said yes. Also because we want them sequential numbered, we have to buy the whole lot from 001 to 068 as the 14 people who have put their names down one migh be number 018 and the other 042. Unless we can get 40+ A610 owners to say yes then I think etched will be way too much. Unless you own or know a company who can help us....... I bet there are more DeLoreans in the UK than A610.

The club holds all the chassis numbers in order of production, so no problem there. I just need a thumb up from all on the list that they are happy with above as I want to get this rolling next week.

Phil,

I understand - shame more folks can't/won't commit - it's not as if each plaque is going to cost the earth! Well done for taking this on though.

I know what you mean, I approached the chap that bought BIG MVS A610, he works for Practical Classics and he told me he was not a badge sort of person, but I bet if it was on the car from day one ( of which it should have been ) he would not have taken it off.... All very frustrating sometimes, like you said it's not like I am charging £100 for it!!! I bloody should with all the time and money I am spending on it.

Anyway, on the “RHD 001” do you guys reckon it should say “RHD 001/68” ?? This will then make it more special. YES or NO please responses ASAP otherwise I will decide.
