It is being offered for sale from Switzerland this means import tax!! This will increase the price a Brit would end up paying to bring it home; I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up costing one of us £60,000 by the time it was sat on the driveway.
It is a racer so a track day warrior or you can go racing; if you wanted it for the road it would mean even more expense to have it converted.
On the plus side the conversion from 400 Trophy to 500 LM looks to have been done with some sympathy as it has the correct 500 LM rear spoiler/bodywork and the engine seems to have some nice kit fitted. Just a last point the spoilers on 500 LM's started out as per this model but were regularly upgraded to the newest factory spoiler, so there are a few rear spoiler types out there!
What about this one then? It is being offered by an acknowledged Venturi specialist and former factory mechanic at 40,000 Euro and as it is being sold from France forget the taxes!!

Has it always been outside the EEC?
If it was originally sold within the EEC, I think they'll consider tax as already EEC paid.
