I noticed Phil Moulder is attending !!
Apparently he has a Techno Gizmo Thingy for re-programming the problems with Cold starting on Avantime V6's
If anyone knows how to get in touch with him, could they ask him to bring it along with him, then maybe he can sort mine out on the day ?? :D

That is the report from the BBC also yet these guys, French, don't see it that way! 18, sunny with cloudy periods. I wonder who will be right?

If I were a moderator I would ban and delete all long term weather forcasts from events posts such as these. As an ex Spider road car driver I soon discovered that non of them can be relied on and that members will all too easily drop out of an event after such posts and yet when the day arrives it is nothing like was expected.
IME nothing other than a 24 hour forcast is anything like reliable.

But we are British, it is hard wired into our DNA to discuss the weather

Forecast doesn't seem to be putting people off. Now a full house 50 cars on the list. Some spare general entry tickets though.

Car has failed MOT on a split steering gator. New one on it's way, repair and retest is already booked.
My dilema is i have been told by said MOT man that i can still use the car but if i get stopped or pulled over i have to convince the boys in blue that it's going to a garage for repairs.
Is this worth the risk i ask myself.
If not i may have to ask the wife if i can borrow her clio to make a appearance at the show.
Can i have some advice on this strange law that seems to exist. ?
Been a long while since iv'e had a car fail it's MOT.

Has the current MOT expired or did it go in before due date ?It doesn't get logged on the system as a fail if it is not yet due,at least the comp doesn't show the actual expiry date until passed ...... .You can submit for MOT up to 28 days prior and afaik the old MOT stays in force till the due date .
If it has expired then you will be taking a chance .
