I had a call about the Renault 5 two weeks ago. Someone was trying to p/ex it for a Porsche and they wanted a valuation.

Interesting Twin Plenum in the Clio V6. Way different from a standard L7X.

clio is pretty much factory standard except steering wheel is non original,

the twin plenum is standard on trophy car

The Clio V6 Trophy car went for £15,820 + premium/vat.

The Turbo 2 went for £18200 + fees and that was way too much money for that car...

Meh ,,,I've seen worse deals ...But could work out good for someone in the long run

In summary:

The T2 had a cheap blow over and needed a complete respray. For example they masked a square around the grilles and left a lovely masking line all around them. The interior was knackered and it need a re trim. The seats were cigarette burnt. The roof lining was falling down. The tyres were cracked. The wheels needed refurbishing. The gearknob was badly worn and did not look like a 34K mile gearknob. There was no history or paperwork. Nothing, just an old style log book. You were not allowed to start or drive the car. It had a horrific cheapo britax sunroof that did not even look like a Renault dealer one and it was badly fitted.

On the plus side it looked very solid with no obvious rust. No obvious accident damage just a few small bits of damage to the kit.

Would make a very nice car with a full resto but pay £20K for resto case with no history? Not for me...

Here you go ,£3k and it will be back ont he road...... That's if the engine is ok Mr Dell I think the days have gone from £15k T2's. What were you prepare to pay?

Maybe but no history and all the running gear could have been knackered.
