Just got an e-mail from the Grand Chateau I was booked into due to a cockerel up I'm told the suite has been previously booked to someone else and there is no room at the inn, so if anyone has any reccomendations for a nice place to stay could they let me know.

Have seen now (via the 'other lot' !!! ) there will be 2 areas - 1 for 250 A110s, another for all other Alpine.

I have seen the registration form - a couple of questions

1) How do we send a cheque in Euros - no more eurocheques??

2) What about camping - I though we could sign up for tickets including camping?

Stephen is going to organise an expedition with Crossing, camping and tickets as per 2010, Plus side is all monies are done in pounds either with Stephen or Euro Tunnel. Follow the link to another thread and add your name to the list.

If you have a bit a spare dough , try classic car tours international ,their le mans classic tour is a bit pricey but well .,, its worth it in other ways .

Looks nice but a bit too organised for me, besides I've now bought an inflatable tent and bed plus accesories. Haven't done camping since the days when I used to take my Harley down the drag strip which was not so much camping more like falling down so drunk and waking up in the field somewhere then getting on the bike and hoping not to fall off and kill myself. There is, I'm sure going to be a certain novelty factor which hopefully won't wear off too quickly.

Is anyone going to the Le-mans Classic this year, I am booking to go down on Thursday 5th and coming back on Sunday evening in the Spider by the tunnel. We are camping in Maison Blanche which is about the best area. If anyone fancies linking up I can give you all the details and prices.

If you have booked seperately please can you clarify whether you booked for the Renault Classic Area directly with Renault Classic or for another non-related trip organised by a seperate company.

Please note that you cannot park in the Renault Classic Area if you book a package trip with another company.
