There are not many of these about so if you want it you have to pay the price.

I remember my brother's mate in the early 80s being called an idiot for spending a similar amount on a Muira in similar condition. He then spent £25K and 2 years restoring it.

From what I have been told it makes my car look like a minter....... Looks like it has been sitting outside for a long long time............ How can somebody do that to it.

Indexed the 1985 'similar amount' would now be approx £40k.
So 40k plus 65k for the restoration.

It wouldn't be bad if you knew in advance what would happen to Muira prices, but there are still plenty of 'marque' cars where that wouldn't make financial sense.
So I guess it comes down to heart not head.
