Hi Adam,

Well done on passing your driving test, maybe you could do a deal on getting BAC to lend you a Mono and getting them to put you on their insurance! 8)

Pleased that you like the Alpine. Shame it was on a wet, windy and cold day (when the Alpine isn't really at it's most stunning!) but what a lot of fun it was getting completely and utterly lost in Manchester City Centre! Doughnuts were amazing too. A couple of video's from the event...

Welcome Adam :D

Your welcome to pop along to our Northern Meet next month if you wish:

It's only up the road from you as well.

Insurance is awful for youngsters these days, a friend of mines son just paid £3000 for last year on a 1.2 Corsa. The kind of good news is after a claim free year it's down to £1600.

That would be the previous owner Simon, he lives there. He now has a MG X Power SV in light blue, not sure if you have seen that knocking around?

Hi Adam, please to have another fan here.

Sorry if this sound patronising but for your first couple of year driving you would be best to buy the slowest, cheapest car you can find. I'm sure you're certain that you're a good driver and will not have an accident.
But statistics say otherwise. It may not be your fault etc etc....

If you really need some speed, get to a kart track.

Nice pics 8)

John - Did you have a play with the Skyline? I remember one came up to me on the A55 on the way to the Tour of Wales last year. I didn't bother as I'm sure I would have been toast

Play with a GTR...haha. Put it this way, the Murcielago SV couldn't keep up with the Nissan....I ain't got no chance!!! Serious bits of kit, astounding considering the cost.

R35..... 500 horses..... don't even think about trying....

guy who we share our workshop with has just completely stripped one to bare shell to convert to a drag beast
the engine would probably fit in an alp a very compact V6 bi turbo.... but at £10 K for the engine alone...... i doubt anyone would even try ..... made me think though, ideal for an LM spider project ,

back to original subject welcome to Adam, maybe he could become Northern Area Club Photogapher? and cover events in the North, i know we have an official "club Photographer" but it seems like Mr D we never see many photos of any events posted up anywhere.... still.... maybe things will change....

Nice photo's, now that I've had the wheels returned to standard colour the yellow one in the picture could be mistaken for mine!
