Yep ...this time last year ish I had just the one and it sort of ran with some mega oomph ...now I have a pile of bits and I'm sure I've lost some of it

4 lumps on the deck in various states of undress but the main lump is still in a million pieces here and there .
Serious plan required .Next year is looking doubtful for actual thrashing as there is just so much to test on JIL and now it's not going road legal it means track rent as well .......

I really think I should just sell up and get something else already sorted ...

GTA ..The ' what was he thinking ' man's Porsche

make a plan.... stick to the goal, stop moving the goal posts and get it together and have a bench mark to start from otherwise you'll never have it ready put your foot down and assert your authority!

Unfinished projects

Postby Tony Smith » Fri Dec 02, 2011 9:29 am

Well send me some pics of the LeMan replica Si and of JIL Lee, with the stuff left to do (and what's been done already) and we'll stick them in the club magazine project section. Seeing them in a mag might get your enthusiasm rekindled- unfortunately it won't rekindle your wallet :(
Alpines - GTA 3.0 Turbo, GTA 3.0 Inj (Project DD), GTA 6.2 V8 (500 bhp) , R32 Skyline GTR, BMW Alpina B10 635 Highline, Alpina B10 E39 5 Series, Jaguar 4.2 XKR, Laguna 205GT, BMW 120d.

The wallet is the weakest link unfortunately at the moment  The LeMans needs at least a leather retrim to the front seats to match the qulity of therest of the car, the foam has sagged etc the rears I might be able to get away with, or I get rid of the two rear seats half cage at alater date and fit some really nice sports recliners recliners sorta GT3 style. The rest is mainly time and effort really head lights to go in an scuttle panels etc front bumper need indicators and bracketry fitted oh and windscreen fitted etc there is not so much to do its just the time on most of it and I need to finish that Atmo off to a reaonable level so front space frame and suspention painted up, coil overs all round gearbox back out  and a rebuilt version lower diff ratio fitted and that'll just about do it for next season. Then I'll see how it all goesi in to the new year, :?:

Can supply you a pics of the restoration if you wish Tony I havethe pictures somewhere
