................. that was a deliberate ooo to emphasise a Northern accent .

3l = 0.83bhp/cc
2.5l = 0.80bhp/cc

At a very basic level I rest my case :lol: :P

Ive had a Z7X apart, I wasnt talking about the 610 engine - No point wondering about 610 engine conversions, hardly common are they?

Bigger valves, obviously ports, hydraulic rockers, better inlet manifold, and cam profiles similar to the 2.9 Z7W

On that logic I suggest replacing your engines with R5 Turbo 2 lumps then...

They make 1.1bhp/CC....:lol:

You could make it 8litre and still only get 0.3bhp/CC...

Ok kiddies I'm bored, let's have our own PRV Engine Masters challenge... OE piston, OE valves the only stipulation, 2.5k maximum spend including base engine, receipts to be provided as part of judging …say engine dyno day end of February to give plenty of time. To be judged on the maximum average power and torque, separate prize for maximum peak power..

Capo di tutti capi to provide prizes, values to be agreed…

So come on let's have some winter build fun...

it can depending what you do, I wasn’t talking counting time, just parts... if you set the limit higher then people won't join in, plus it sets a limit to what is done... you could have a couple of people involved in a build. I was also thinking the club could provide the turbos and cams... be creative...

Put up or shut up Dave ...welcome back BTW :wink:

Without even touching the engine, Garrett GT30 is going to be near a grand, decent chargecooler kit near a grand, Atmo 3-1 manrdel manifolds £500, custom link pipe and put the turbo down at the bottom of the car and supports, say another £250, ECU, injectors, fuel pump odds and sods, £1000.....

I wouldnt even touch the engine.
