I now have a fire extinguisher in the car, and I have wondered about a file injection cut off too- my first Mondeo had one that cut out if you hit the kern too hard but that would seem a sensible investment too.
I think an engine bay loom inspection is overdue too. that has got to be the biggest fire risk, along with the smaller plastic fuel hoses. The main ones are metal and/ braided, but some of the smaller ones look vulnerable on a 17 year old cr with an over temperature engine bay.
Steve do you have any a610 engine bay looms?

chop some naca ducts into the rear wings to give some cold air ventilation.... MVS is in the process of donig this already
