Great stuff now that the metal bits are no longer letting down the plastic bits it'll be great to see it all back in one piece again and another Alpine saved 8)

I would suggest just a little wrapping on the manifold bend which is so close to the turret.

I'm thinking of making a heat shield for this area, to clip onlt to round bar which goes from the turret to the middle of the bulkhead.

Well, after viewing Mogster's strut boxes, it prompted me to buy some exhaust wrap from eBay.
Spent most evenings this week fixing wrap to manifolds and the section so close to the strut boxes.
Offside was fairly straight forward, drivers side was a real pig.

Hope it will make a slight difference and prolong this weak area.

Another job to do if I ever drop the subframe, I am amazed you could do the drivers side in place. You perhaps missed your mission as a gynaecologist!
:P
Btw is White the right colour for all these parts? I recall the "new 610" having White components, it was an early one, but mine are all black - is that because it's a late car?
So should all Gtas have White subframes originally? Anyone know? Lee
